About the Journal

Journal of Islam, Media, and Society (JIMS) is an international, peer-reviewed journal that focuses on the dynamic relationship between Islam, media, and contemporary society. The journal explores how Islamic beliefs, practices, and discourses are shaped, represented, and negotiated across various media platforms. JIMS welcomes interdisciplinary studies that examine issues such as digital religion, Islamic communication, media representation of Islam, and the role of media in shaping religious authority and social life in Muslim contexts.
