Journal of Quranic Media Studies is a peer-reviewed journal published twice a year. This statement clarifies ethical behavior of all parties involved in publishing, including authors, editors, reviewers, and publisher. This statement is based on COPE’s Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors.

The publication of an article in a peer-reviewed journal is an essential building block in the development of a coherent and respected network of knowledge. It reflects the quality of the authors’ work and supporting institutions. The journal is committed to ensuring ethical standards and integrity in scholarly publishing.

Authorship and Contributorship

We consider authorship to reflect transparency in contributions. Authorship should be based on substantial contributions to conception, design, data analysis, manuscript drafting, and final approval. The corresponding author must ensure all contributors are appropriately credited and their roles clearly stated.

Complaints and Appeals

The journal provides a clear procedure for handling complaints related to editorial processes, peer review, or publication ethics. Complaints are handled according to COPE guidelines and must be submitted through official communication channels.
